A quiet place in the idyllic Biebrza valley is an ideal place to relax, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, commune with nature, or try regional dishes prepared from organic ingredients. From the very beginning of the opening of the Guest Farm, that is from 2009, “Biebrza Eldorado” located in the village of Dolistowo Stare on the Biebrza enjoys a well-deserved recognition. In order to meet the expectations of the guests, the hosts themselves prepare most of the dishes they serve for breakfast or dinners. Some of them are based on recipes that our mothers and grandmothers used, as well as great-grandmothers – a recipe on the 1903 layout. One of these products is sourdough country bread (also in the version with additives, eg with cranberry, pumpkin seeds, etc.). This bread won the first prize in the competition Our Culinary Heritage – Tastes of Regions 2015, in the category of products and vegetable preserves. We also recommend oładzie – another product from which the farm is famous.
The farm organizes canoeing and rafting trips, and after such an active rest in the bosom of nature, nothing tastes better than fresh bread with lard and cucumber from your own garden.
Products derived directly from the Farm and from local food producers are used to produce the products. The products are always fresh, prepared in small quantities mainly for guests of the Farm or on an earlier order.
Traditional dish of Russian and Ukrainian cuisine – oat, yeast buns fried like donuts, in fat are very appreciated by guests. They are usually served with whipped cream, caviar or sweet: with honey, plum jam or confiture. For this cold milk and dessert ready!
